Playrooms (Two Pixels) vs PLAYROOMS (Winterblood)

Side by side

Two Pixels UG, app 5037510: released 4 Nov 2026, Windows only, list price $6.99 and a 7 Nov sale of $5.59, tags that include cleaning and horror, store text about 200,000 balls, pits, keys, and lights going out, 30 achievements. Winterblood, app 3492480: coming soon, no release date on the store page, no price, Windows and Linux, genres listed as adventure, indie, and simulation. Its public description talks about finding a way out, gentle puzzles, and an ambient Backrooms mood. I did not see an achievement block on that coming-soon page, so I am not inventing a count.

If you want to pick up balls tonight, use the Two Pixels listing on the download page. If you want the unreleased escape, the Winterblood page is the one still marked coming soon, and this guide does not cover its puzzles because they are not out. The other name clashes are indexed on Which Playrooms? and written up for Dreamcore and The Classrooms.

Why the mix-up happens

Community search for the bare word Playrooms on Steam has returned the Winterblood hub in the past, because that page existed before Two Pixels shipped. The fix is the developer name and the app number, not a louder headline. Caps in PLAYROOMS are the other studio's styling. I keep both stylings so a quote stays accurate.
